HSBC has expanded its Australian presence with a new office in Subiaco, Perth. 

The branch is the bank's fourth in area and highlights Australia's status as a priority market for HSBC globally. 

It will feature HSBC Premier, the firm's global banking and wealth offering for mass affluent clients, in addition to services offered by its normal bank branch.

The Subiaco office will also offer services for internationally-focused business customers, including transactional banking, foreign exchange, trade finance and payments and cash management.

"We see great potential for growing our business in Western Australia where its commodities-driven economy and the significant number of workers from overseas have made it Australia's fastest growing state," said Graham Heunus, head of retail banking and wealth management for HSBC Bank Australia.

HSBC Group has a network of 36 branches and offices in Australia.
