HKSI Reveals New Set Of Directors, Chairman

The Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, the professional organisation for the securities and investment industry in the Asian region, has announced a new set of board directors and chairman. 

At its 15th annual general meeting, the HKSI revealed its leaders for 2013, to be led by Craig Blaser Lindsay as chairman. Lindsay, who replaces Anthony Muh, brings over 30 years of financial services experience to the role and has worked for the likes of Goldman Sachs and Tokai Asia. He is currently the managing director and chief operating officer of CITIC Securities International and Investment Management and chairman of China New Economy Fund.

The board directors elected by members include Prof Michael Arthur Firth, John Martin Maguire, Colin Stuart Shaftesley and Tsang Chi Suen Trini. Directors appointed by the Securities and Futures Commission are Chiu Kwow Keung Ringo, Shek Chi Fai Derek and Wong Ying Kwan Stephen.

Remaining on the board are Chan Ping Keung Bryan, Ho Shuk Yee Samantha, Lam Kit Lan Cynthia, Philip Andrew Tye, Wong Wai Kwan Anna and Wong Shiu Hoi Peter. Co-steering the board with Lindsay is Edith Ngan Chan as chief executive. 

The Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute was established in 1997 to promote financial services industry standards and provide professional training to members of the securities and investment industry.
