Guggenheim Rebrands Claymore

Guggenheim Partners has renamed subsidiary Claymore Securities, Guggenheim Funds Distributors. The rebranding marks the next phase of business integration following the acquisition of Claymore by Guggenheim in October of 2009.

In addition Claymore Advisors has been renamed Guggenheim Funds Investment Advisors and Claymore Group, Guggenheim Funds Services Group. Claymore’s product lineup includes exchange traded funds, unit investment trusts and closed-end funds.

Many of Claymore ETFs were renamed but their respective ticker symbols remain unchanged. CEF names remain unchanged at this time, and the names of Claymore’s UITs will remain until the subsequent series for each trust deposits. On the deposit date, the new UIT series may be rebranded.

Headquartered in Chicago and New York Guggenheim has $100 billion in assets under supervision.
