Guernsey Trust Company Makes Senior Appointments

Guernsey-listed trust Hansard Management Services has made two new appointments, with a focus on business development and client acquisition. Alan Northmore is director of client services and Karen Blanchard-Foster joins the company as head of business development and marketing.

Both Mr Northmore and Ms Blanchard-Foster will focus on improving current client relationships and winning new business, the firm said in a statement.

The appointment is a promotion for Mr Northmore, who has been with the Hansard group for nine years, in client services and latterly as a director of Hansard Trust Company. Prior to joining Hansard, he worked in trust and fiduciary for Coutts and HSBC in Guernsey.

The firm said Karen Blanchard-Foster’s appointment reinforces it’s commitment to developing the business further. Ms Blanchard-Foster previously worked with Investec Bank in business development and indeed at Abbey National, where she first formed a relationship with Hansard Management Services.

Hansard was established in 1992 by managing director Philip Blows. It provides a traditional trust and fiduciary service to international clients as well as corporate services and comprises of a team of 13 people, including three chartered accountants and an in house counsel.
