Guardian Wealth Management's CCO To Leave Firm

He joined the firm in December 2016, and now will focus on other industry developments.

The chief commercial officer of Guardian Wealth Management, Mike Coady, will leave the firm in January 2018, according to a statement made on Coady’s personal website.

After successfully completing the agreed 12-month assignment, Coady will now focus on other industry developments, he said in a statement.

He joined the firm in December 2016, as reported by this publication. Prior to GWM, Coady was managing director of DeVere United Kingdom, DeVere Mortgages and chairman of UK Workplace Solutions, all part of the DeVere Group of companies.

“Having initially partnered with GWM to develop their business in preparation for its continued expansion plans, I have been impressed by the transformation the firm has encountered,” Coady said. “As a company, we have been able to significantly develop the infrastructure and technology of the business and I strongly believe GWM is now one of the most advanced business’ in the market and can continue in their plans for 2018 and beyond."

The GWM board said in the statement: “Mike has made an exceptional contribution to GWM and we must thank him enormously for what he has achieved in such a short period of time.The board and the entire company are full of appreciation for the efforts and achievements Mike has made. A very clear set of goals were planned at outset and with these now complete we know that our management team will continue with our strong company vision for the future.We wish Mike all the best for the future.”
