Global Compliance, Cyber Defence Firm Opens Doors In California

A cyber defence and compliance business has set up an office on the US West Coast, highlighting how demand for such firms' services continues to grow.
K2 Intelligence, the compliance and cyber defence company, has set up shop in Los Angeles and made a new hire.
The firm, which has offices around the world, said the new Los Angeles office will be a “critical hub” for its private client services team, which provides risk management services for high-profile and high net worth individuals and family offices.
“Our high-profile entertainment industry, high net worth and family office clients are seeking hands-on expertise and support to manage serious physical security and cyber threats. Increasing our capacity in Los Angeles will enhance our ability to serve these clients,” said Jordan Arnold, managing director and head of private client services at K2 Intelligence.
The office will also provide business intelligence and investigations to help companies manage issues such as those pertaining to fraud, FCPA investigations, pre-transactional due diligence, shareholder activism and corporate contests.
Brant Tinsley, a Los Angeles corporate investigator and formerly a managing director at Kroll, has been recruited to oversee business intelligence investigations.
“With so many of our current clients and technology partners based on the West Coast, the office will serve as a convenient hub to service them. A presence in Los Angeles will also help to strengthen and expand our relationships in important West Coast industry sectors, such as finance, technology, media and entertainment,” said Robert Brenner, chief operating officer at K2 Intelligence.
K2 Intelligence has offices in New York, London, Madrid, Tel Aviv and Geneva.
