Global Asset Manager Continues Expansion In Hong Kong

Global asset manager Standard Life Investments has officially opened its new offices in Hong Kong as part of plans to develop the territory as its Asia-Pacific hub.

Located at the LHT Tower in Central, the launch reinforces the company's growth efforts in the region, marked recently by the addition of Allen Wang as head of Asia institutional business and Virginia Devereux Wong as head of Asia wholesale business in Hong Kong.

"Our Asia expansion will focus on serving institutional investors and fund distributors, as well as a sub-advisory service, by providing access to our proven and innovative investment products and solutions," said David Penghead of Asia.

Standard Life Investments has third party assets under management of $152.5 billion and total assets under management of $290.8 billion as at 30 September 2013.
