Germany's HypoVereinsbank Names New Private Client Head

The Munich-headquartered bank has made a couple of senior appointments, with one named as its new private client business chief.
HypoVereinsbank, the
German bank that is part of UniCredit, yesterday
announced that René Babinsky (pictured below) will
become its new head of private client business.
His successor as regional manager for the North-East region will be announced shortly, the bank, which is headquartered in Munich (pictured), said in a statement.
Separately, Georgiana Lazar (pictured below) is joining as head of “people and culture management.”
Babinsky will be taking up the role from 1 March this year.
He has worked for UniCredit since 2008, initially in the
corporate customer area. He has moved to a number of roles, such
as becoming head of corporates for Berlin before moving into the
private client segment in 2020.
Lazar and Babinsky will be promoted to management
level.
Marion Höllinger is the bank’s chief executive.
