The UK-based private bank Kleinwort Benson has confirmed two hires for its Birmingham office, having already announced two hires at its Newbury office at the end of last week. (more here).
Jennifer Macintyre, formerly of Investec Private Bank, joined as a senior private banker, and Samantha Brown joined as team private banking assistant, the firm said.
Macintyre and Brown joined Graham Lucas, who has been based in the Birmingham office for four years.
Macintyre was most recently senior investment practitioner at Investec Private Bank, where she managed investment portfolios for a number of ultra high net worth international families.
Brown, who now works alongside Macintyre, joins from Coutts & Co.
“Jennifer is a highly experienced practitioner and the financial acumen she has brought to the Birmingham team will be of immense benefit to clients and her colleagues alike,” said Colin Rowe, head of private wealth management for the regions, adding that the two have already become an integral part of the firm’s regional team.
Kleinwort Benson, which has a history dating back to the 1790s, expects the completion of the change of control in its business from Germany’s Commerzbank to the Belgian financial services group RHJ International, Commerzbank to take place in July.
