Alter Domus, the
European funds and corporate services provider, has opened a new
office in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Leading the team at Alter Domus Deutschland is Jörg Stuckart, who
will take on the role of country executive Germany.
Stuckart has over 16 years of experience in the industry in
Luxembourg and Frankfurt and will be responsible for developing
Alter Domus’ business development in Germany.
“Expanding our international presence into this important
European nation’s financial sector is an exciting development as
Alter Domus continually strives to provide its clients with high
quality services with an ever-increasing international reach,”
said chief executive Laurent Vanderweyen.
“In Germany we have entered into a co-operation with Domus Legal
Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (Domus Legal), a law firm collaborating
with bepartners, Düsseldorf, an independent firm of lawyers and
tax advisors with a wide range of clients from the investment
management industry including banks, insurance and investment
companies,“ he added.
In other news, last month Alter Domus appointed James McEvoy as
country executive for Ireland. McEvoy has over 13 years’
experience in the Dublin financial sector, such as in corporate
legal advisory and structured finance areas.
The move comes after the firm acquired Ireland’s O’Donovan
Stewart Corporate Services business, finalised in May. This
acquisition has allowed Alter Domus to enhance its Irish client
base and develop its business offerings such as Ireland’s
aircraft leasing and aviation sector, formerly a sector for
ODS.
