French Asset Manager Hires European Equities Analyst

Markus Kulessa has joined the Carmignac Gestion European equities team as an analyst, based in the firm's Paris head office. The team is headed by Laurent Ducoin.
Kulessa, who is German, gained analytical experience in the mergers and acquisitions department at KPMG in Frankfurt and before that at Société Générale and Wachovia Securities in London.
Carmignac Gestion’s capital is held entirely by managers and staff. It currently has €50 billion ($63 billion) of assets under management, 18 funds covering all asset classes and a discretionary management service. The firm has subsidiaries in Luxembourg and Frankfurt, offices in Madrid, Milan and London, and has registered all its funds intended for professional investors in Singapore.
