Franklin Templeton Real Estate Advisors, the recently established real estate investment arm of Franklin Templeton Investments, has appointed Wenning Jung as vice president. Ms Jung will focus on identifying private real estate investment opportunities in Asian markets. Franklin Templeton Real Estate Advisors manages strategies in both the private and public real estate markets – including global, non-US, regional and domestic products for both institutional and retail clients. “We have seen tremendous growth opportunities in the Asian real estate sector and expect that Wenning’s experience and background will allow us to continue to uncover compelling real estate investment opportunities in this important region,” said Jack Foster, managing director and head of Franklin Templeton Real Estate Advisors. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Ms Jung was employed with the California Public Employees’ Retirement System, serving as an investment officer in the real estate department.
