Focus Financial Partners Signs Up To CAIS Investment Platform

Focus Financial Partners, the partnership of wealth management firms in North America and the UK, has signed a deal to give its partner and affiliated firms access to the CAIS investment platform.

CAIS runs an end-to-end alternatives investment service, giving access to a mixture of alternative investment funds, execution services and reporting along with third-party due diligence.

Focus Financial Partners is made up of 23 independent wealth management firms in the US and UK with more than $45 billion in assets.

"The CAIS platform…furthers our economies of scale and differentiated services that help us attract new wealth management partners,” said Rudy Adolf, founder and chief executive of Focus Financial.

Focus has added several high-profile new partners in the last two months, including LVW Advisors. Based in Rochester, New York, LVW is led by Lori Van Dusen, who was ranked third on the Barron’s 2011 list of Women Financial Advisors, with $4.9 billion of assets under advisory.

The CAIS platform serves wealth management firms and private banks throughout the US, Asia, Europe, Brazil and other global markets.
