Fidelity International Launches YouTube Channel

Investment fund manager Fidelity International has launched a YouTube channel that will be open to all audiences, including advisors.
The channel, which the firm termed a “dedicated finance channel” will be called FidelityUK and its content will include guides, market commentary, fund manager updates and investment insights. The firm says it will, from launch, provide reaction to news and issues as they happen. The channel will be interactive and will allow viewers to comment on the content.
“Setting up a YouTube channel was the next step for us, having already launched Twitter and Facebook accounts and the Fidelity iPhone app over the last couple of years. The YouTube channel is designed to complement the information we are sending out via Twitter and Facebook, providing more in-depth analysis into what our managers are thinking and what our commentators are saying, and offering opinion on topical news as it happens,” said Rob Fisher, head of UK Personal Investments at Fidelity International.
“There will be something for everyone on the FidelityUK channel as we appreciate that some viewers will be new to investing whereas others will be financially savvy. Overall we hope the content will enrich all who watch,” he added.
Some of the videos that are available to view so far are: an interview with portfolio manager Sanjeev Shah, a Fidelity China Consumer Fund insight from Raymond Ma; a guide to investing with Fidelity International; Outlook 2011 views from Anthony Bolton and Trevor Greetham.
