UK advisors using Fidelity FundsNetwork are benefiting from a newly launched online switching service for FundsNetwork Self Invested Personal Pension, onshore investment bond and international bond clients and an upgraded Morningstar X-Ray service. Both are part of a series of enhancements being made to the platform and online portfolio management services. Switches can be made between funds and to the online cash account at no extra cost. As switches are processed straight through, there is no longer any need for a “wet signature”, which means it cuts out paper work, reduces errors and processes switches more quickly. The Morningstar X-Ray service has around 20,000 users a month. Following a consultation period with advisors, a number of enhancements have been made which include more detailed portfolio information, such as portfolio performance history, historic returns and detailed return analysis; integration across the full FundsNetwork product range including the recently launched international bond; flexible statement options, with online statement and valuation allowing advisers to print off a statement providing detailed analysis.
