FOX Unveils Focus Of Upcoming Wealth Advisor Forum
Family Office Exchange is set to hold its annual Wealth Advisor Forum in May, with a focus this year on advising private business owners.
The event will be held in Coral Gables, FL, on May 1-2, and feature keynote speakers Howard Bragman and Dan Schawbel.
A line-up of speakers will discuss the outlook for private business and wealth owners over the next decade, as well as strategies for addressing the advisor talent shortage and industry benchmarks.
“We’re providing special focus this year on issues for members who are business owners,” said Marv Pollack, managing director, marketing and strategy at FOX.
FOX made this decision after realizing, through studies and surveys, “exactly how many of our members and the markets we touch still own businesses,” he said. "Many of our families are still creating wealth.”
In light of this, there will be a panel discussion led by FOX president Alexandre Monnier on the challenges for private business owners.
Meanwhile, Bragman, author of Where's My Fifteen Minutes?: Get Your Company, Your Cause, or Yourself the Recognition You Deserve, will discuss building a brand in the digital age while Schawbel, author of Me 2.0: 4 Steps to Building Your Future, will outline what firms need to do to serve the next generation of wealthy clients.
Among other highlights, a panel of speakers will discuss developing the next generation of wealth advisors. This will feature: Thomas Melcher, executive vice president of Hawthorn PNC; Michael Cole, Ascent Private Capital’s president of ultra high net worth; and Pitcairn chief executive Leslie Voth.
Registration for the event is open to members and non-members of FOX.
