FF&P Hires Ex-Clariden Leu Executive As Moscow-Based CIO

Fleming Family & Partners, the UK multi-family office, has hired Svetlana Le Gall, a former senior executive at Swiss bank Clariden Leu and Russian brokers UFG and Renaissance, as its Moscow-based chief investment officer.

There have been a number of developments at FF&P’s Russian business recently; the Moscow-based subsidiary of FF&P appointed Yelena Stolyarova as a managing director, as a part of its strategy to form a team of key managers. She is developing the firm’s wealth management business as well as attracting and serving high net worth individuals. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at Clerville Investment Management, the London-based family office, as a vice president of its private banking business. Meanwhile, last September, the firm appointed Svetlana Voyueva as vice president and head of its client relations and services department.

MFK Bank, a Moscow-headquartered firm that serves wealthy Russians, has entered into a partnership with the Russian-based subsidiary of FF&P.

Back in the UK, it was announced in mid-March that Asquith & Partners, the family wealth management practice, has agreed to form a strategic partnership with FF&P, with FF&P taking a “substantial minority stake” in the business. As part of the changes, Asquith & Partners appointed Alison Malton as chief operating officer and Phil Patient as head of financial planning.
