Evercore Adds Former GenSpring Strategist To Wealth Advisory Board

Evercore Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Evercore, is expanding its national wealth advisory service with the appointment of Jewelle Bickford as partner and wealth advisor.

Bickford will be based at the firm's headquarters in New York and report to Jeff Maurer, chief executive of Evercore.

She joins from GenSpring Family Offices, where she served as a senior strategist, responsible for cultivating relationships with high net worth families. She also led the company's focus on women and wealth.

Prior to joining GenSpring in 2009, Bickford was a global partner at Rothschild Group, concentrating on cross-border new business origination, and serving as head of the debt capital markets. She merged her investment banking firm, Bickford & Partners, with Rothschild, in 1994.

Evercore managed client assets totaling $4.7 billion as of June 30, 2013.

The firm has offices in New York, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, Toronto, London, Aberdeen, Scotland, Mexico City, Monterrey, Mexico, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
