European-Based Consultancy Giant Names CEO

One of the world's largest consultancies has a new CEO.
The first non-German to be chief executive of global business
consultancy Roland
Berger Strategy Consultants, Charles-Edouard Bouee, has been
elected by the firm at a recent meeting in Frankfurt.
The firm, which operates in sectors including finance and
banking, said that former CEO, Burkhard Schwenker, has been
elected to its supervisory board. He had been CEO from 2003 to
2010 and had moved to hold the supervisory board chairmanship
last year. He helped drive through a “realignment” at the firm,
working with Bouee, who had been chief operating officer during
that period, it said in a statement.
The partners of the firm also elected 12 new partners worldwide,
and promoted nine partners to the status of senior partner.
Bouee joined Roland Berger in 2001. He was chairman of the
regions France, Belgium and North Africa and head of Roland
Berger's Asian business and he was also president and managing
partner for Greater China (Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Taipei
and Hong Kong ).
Roland Berger Strategy Consultants has 51 offices in 36
countries, with over 2,700 staff.
