Elian Names Chief Commercial Officer

The international provider of private wealth, corporate, capital, fund and due diligence services has created a new commercial leadership role in Jersey.
Elian has promoted its head of corporate services, Philip Norman, to the newly-created role of chief commercial officer.
Norman, who has been with the business for 16 years, will also join the Elian board. He will be in charge of developing new products and driving business growth, while ensuring high levels of client service globally.
Taking the reins from Norman at the helm of Elian Corporate Services will be group director Simon Mackenzie, who joined the firm in 2002. In his new role, he will focus on further integration and expansion. Both Norman and Mackenzie will be based in Jersey.
“We have expanded our footprint in North America and continental Europe with our new office in New York and with the acquisition of SFM Europe. We have very exciting growth plans and Philip’s team will be vital in helping us expand and grow the business in new markets and geographies,” said Elian's chief executive, Paul Willing.
Elian has offices in Bahrain, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Dublin, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Jersey, New York, London, Luxembourg and Tokyo.
