Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management Hires Head Of Asia Sales

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, a subsidiary of La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild, has hired Lavin Mok as head of Asia sales.

Mok was formerly a managing director at Tremont Capital Management, and headed up the firm’s fund of hedge fund sales activities in various Asian countries. Prior to this, he was a managing director at Oppenheimer Funds (which owns Tremont), running its Asia operation, and has also worked at AXA and Invesco.

In his new role he is responsible for the sales and marketing team at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management Hong Kong, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the firm, as well as promoting the Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management brand, and distributing its products. He will also market the firm’s funds to institutional clients and distribution networks in Asia, particularly in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
