Eaton Vance In UK Appoints Business Development Director For Financial Groups

The US-owned investment house has named a vice president for its business development activities in the UK.
Eaton Vance Management International, which is a subsidiary of
US-listed Eaton
Vance, has appointed David Miles as vice president, business
development director for UK financial institutions. He previously
worked at Legal & General Investment Management.
Based in Eaton Vance’s London office, Miles will lead and be
responsible for increasing sales in the UK, as well as handling
relationships with key financial institutions. He will report to
Christopher Mason, VP, director of business development,
financial institutions, Europe.
Miles has over 20 years of financial services experience; at
LGIM, he was senior investment sales manager, responsible for
distributing to London institutions. Before this, he covered
institutions in the Channel Islands and Northern Europe. He also
spent three years at MFS Investment Management as a regional vice
president, and has held senior intermediary sales roles for
UK and Southern Europe at Govett Investment Management and
BGI.
Eaton Vance and its affiliates managed $295.6 billion in assets
as of 31 January 2015. EVMI has been based in London since
2001.
