EXCLUSIVE: Swiss Firm's Europe Private Bank Head Leaves

This publication can report on a top-level private banking departure.

The head of private banking Europe at Credit Suisse has left the Zurich-listed lender, this publication can exclusively report.

Claudio di Sanctis, managing director who has been in the post since December 2015, has left the bank. Prior to his latest role, he was MD, head of private banking for northern and eastern Europe, from December 2014 to December 2015, and before this, MD and market area head for Southeast Asia, location head for private banking Singapore, at Credit Suisse.

Earlier, he worked in Geneva and Zurich at UBS, holding the MD role, at UBS, according to his Linkedin profile.

WealthBriefing understands that the change is part of a regional restructuring of the International Wealth Management business, which was reported yesterday. Northern Europe to be run by Emma Crystal, Southern Europe led by Inigo Martos, Middle East by Bruno Daher, Africa and NRIs under Raj Sehgal, Brazil led by Marco Abrahão and the rest of Latin America to be run by Jorge Fernández Aman.
