EFG Private Bank Unveils New Asia Pacific Fund

EFG Private Bank has introduced a new income and capital fund designed for investors in the Asia Pacific.

The new fund, called New Capital Asia Pacific Equity Income Fund, will be led by emerging markets specialist Tony Jordan, the company said in a statement. The main purpose of the product will be to build on the rising regional interest on UCITS III funds, as well as tap the growing emerging market client base.

Jordan, who brings 30 years of Asia Pacific investment experience to his new role, will be responsible for supervising operations in the region and will be instrumental in the selection of companies that offer the highest potential. Before this appointment, he worked for 13 years at Atlantis Investment Management, an emerging market specialist firm.

"The fund is being launched at a time when stocks in the Asia Pacific region are attractive both in value and growth terms. Investors are starting to look beyond low-yielding developed markets for enhanced income returns," he commented.

The minimum investment into the new fund is $10,000.
