Dubai Bank Launches Wealth Management Services

Commercial Bank of Dubai has launched a new wealth management programme for its high net worth customers. Named the Al Dana Wealth Management Programme, after the most precious type of pearl found in the waters of the Gulf, the service will allow access to multi-manager, open-architecture, Shariah compliant and conventional range of investment funds and a mortgage product. Customers will also be offered current accounts, Al Dana Visa Infinite and World MasterCard, customised loans facilities and online brokerage services. Peter Baltussen, chief executive of CBD, said: "Al Dana will tap the immense scope that exists in this market for innovation and differentiation. Al Dana range of funds will be designed for each customer on the basis of a thorough assessment of their financial objectives, risk tolerance and investment time horizon." The Al Dana service will be managed by Othman Bin Hendi. Commercial Bank of Dubai was established in 1969 and has a network of 25 branches covering the United Arab Emirates.
