Deals Of The Day: The Latest In Wealth Management M&A - Quilter

The latest moves in wealth management across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Quilter
Private Client Advisers has acquired three financial planning
businesses, Eastgate Financial Management, Holdaway Johnson and
Clive C Aitkenhead Financial Consultant. The deal takes the
number of firms acquired this year by the national advice
business to 11.
Clients of Cheltenham-based, Eastgate, will be serviced from
Quilter Private Client Advisers’ Birmingham office, while
Holdaway Johnson, based in Surrey, will be aligned to the London
office. Clients of Blackburn-based firm, Aitkenhead, will now be
serviced by Quilter Private Client Advisers’ Chester office.
David Irving, Clive Aitkenhead and Charles Holdaway, the
respective owners of Eastgate, Aitkenhead and Holdaway Johnson,
will each retire after helping with the smooth transition of the
businesses to Quilter Private Client Advisers.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
