Deals Of The Day: The Latest In Wealth Management M&A – Premier Miton, Tellworth Investments
The latest mergers, acquisitions and other corporate actions in the wealth management sector.
Premier Miton, Tellworth Investments
London-listed Premier Miton
confirmed yesterday that Tellworth Investments has been moved
onto its platform, completing an acquisition initially announced
in January after it secured regulatory approval.
As a result of the transaction, Premier Miton is able to
add long/short investment strategies to its offerings,
including those with potential for institutional distribution, it
said in a statement.
The TM Tellworth UK Select and TM Tellworth UK Smaller Companies
funds will keep their brands. The co-founders and managers of the
funds are Paul Marriage and John Warren.
Mark Barnett, manager of the TM Tellworth UK Income and Growth
Fund, will be leaving Premier Miton at the end of June. From
17 June, this fund will be run by Premier Miton’s Emma Mogford,
who joined the firm in 2020, and assistant fund manager, Mahgul
Ansari. They also manage the Premier Miton Monthly Income Fund
and Premier Miton Optimum Income Fund.
