DBS Ties Up With Wincor Nixdorf System For Marina Bay Flagship Branch

DBS, the Singaporean bank, has chosen Wincor Nixdorf's cash management technology for its flagship branch in the Marina Bay Financial Centre in Singapore.

The newly-designed branch, which will serve as a blueprint for the firm's branch network, is equipped with 22 CINEO systems, from automated teller safes to cash recycling systems. Wincor Nixdorf collaborated with DBS for this branch concept with the goal to accelerate the process of transactions and free up more time for individual customer consulting.

DBS has over four million clients in the city-state alone.

Wincor also provides IT services for DBS, composed of first and second line maintenance. The entire infrastructure consists of 638 DBS multivendor self-service systems linked remotely to the eServices Platform control tower in Singapore.
