Crown Bank Hires Head Of Treasury

Crown Bank, the Minneapolis-based, privately-held firm that counts private banking among its services, has appointed Lisa Perlman as vice president to head up its treasury management and deposit services.

In her new role, Perlman will be based Crown Bank's Edina branch, where she will be working alongside Peter Dahl, chief executive officer, Kevin Howk, president, as well as John Crinklaw, president of the Minneapolis branch, the firm said in a statement.

She joins the firm from Associated Bank, where she managed a $60 million deposit portfolio and $20 million loan portfolio consisting of 200 clients. Earlier in her career Perlman worked at Liberty State Bank, which was bought by First Federal Capital Bank and then acquired by Associated Bank.

Perlman said she was attracted to “the authentic private banking environment” at Crown Bank and “the entrepreneurial mindset of its officers".

Established in 2000, Crown Bank grew from $4.5 million in assets in its first year to $270 million in assets in 2010. The bank serves small- and mid-size business owners, business investors and high net worth individuals from its offices in Edina and downtown Minneapolis.
