Credit Suisse Opens Research Centre in North Carolina

Credit Suisse has opened a $40 million new facility for its Centre of Excellence in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina, were 850 staff are employed. Nick Bloom, Credit Suisse's head of Centres of Excellence said, "Our investment in this purpose built new facility is testament to the success of the Center of Excellence in the region. Research Triangle Park has already proven to be a solid investment for the Bank and we look forward to continuing our support for the community leveraging the highly educated workforce in the area." The CoE program is a key strategic initiative for Credit Suisse, designed to improve client services by deploying resources and building new infrastructure globally. This centre provides vital business continuity, information technology and operations services to internal and external clients at Credit Suisse. The bank also has centres located in Singapore, Pune, India and Wroclaw, Poland.
