Coutts Promotes Client Partner In Southeast UK
Coutts & Co, the UK private banking arm of Royal Bank of Scotland, is promoting John Goss from client partner to senior client partner for Kent and Sussex. Mr Goss, who has been managing the Tunbridge Wells office for the last year, will now also assume responsibility for the new team in Brighton, and will be driving the expansion of Coutts along the South Coast.
“We've seen increased demand for tailored wealth management solutions and expert advice as the economic climate has led many wealthy individuals into a flight to quality. It's perhaps more important now, than ever before for wealthy individuals to ensure they are receiving the best advice available to protect their wealth," said Nick Gornall, head of private banking, southern region and entrepreneurs at Coutts.
Mr Goss has a long standing relationship with Tunbridge Wells, having first relocated into the area in 1978, to begin his career in financial services. In 2001, he was recruited to help launch Coutts' Tunbridge Wells office. Recruited initially as a private banker, he later moved up to senior private banker in 2007, and then early last year was appointed to manage the local office as client partner.
Coutts has regional offices in Bath, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Chelmsford, Cheltenham, Eton, Exeter, Guildford, Hampshire, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Nottingham, Oxford, Reading and Tunbridge Wells.
