Compliance, Management Consultancies Join Forces To Target Investment Industry

The two consultancies will share their expertise to provide regulatory, business and technology consulting services to the investment industry.

Compliance consultancy Cordium and management consultancy Knadel have struck an alliance in the UK to further their reach in the investment market.

Cordium and Knadel specialise respectively in regulatory and business change. The link-up will enhance both firms' capabilities, combining regulatory analysis, support and compliance infrastructure delivery with operational, business and technology advice and implementation.

“We believe there is a gap in the market to provide a specialist boutique consulting offering as an alternative to the 'Big Four' regulatory and business consulting model,” said Paul Sutton, co-founder and director at Knadel.

“Regulatory requirements are a key driver behind business and technological change, operational standards and innovation,” added Stephen Burke, Cordium's managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. “Together, our two trusted firms will provide clients with regulatory and operations expertise to manage change and support clients with risk, governance and compliance solutions on a regular basis.”

Cordium, which has offices in London, New York, Boston, San Francisco, Malta and Hong Kong, serves over 1,500 clients in the financial services industry, including high net worth individuals, large family offices and global financial services firms. Knadel has offices in London and Jersey. It has worked with over 100 firms, including asset owners, wealth managers, distributors and software vendors.
