City National Boosts Entertainment, Wealth Unit With Senior Hire

City National Bank has taken on Richard Limekiller as a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager within its entertainment and wealth management division as part of an "expanded wealth management focus" in New York, the firm said.

Based in New York City, Limekiller will develop customized investment, asset allocation and retirement planning for high net worth families, individuals, entrepreneurs, hedge fund and private equity professionals as well as professional service firms.

Although he will specialize in equities, he will cover all types of investment management, the bank said, reporting to Martha Henderson, head of the entertainment division.

"Limekiller will help City National expand our services in New York as well as in Nashville and Atlanta," said Henderson.

Prior to joining City National, Limekiller spent nearly two decades with US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in New York, most recently as a senior portfolio manager within the HNW group.

In other recent developments, City National agreed to buy Rochdale Investment Management at the end of April, creating an $18 billion firm called City National Rochdale Investment Management and boosting its assets under management to over $60 billion.

City National Bank is the wholly-owned subsidiary of City National Corporation. It serves ultra high net worth clients primarily through Convergent Wealth Advisors. Serving the firm's HNW and affluent investors are City National Rochdale and the company's five majority-owned affiliates.
