Citi Private Bank Hires Two Advisors From Deutsche In Dallas

Citi Private Bank, which has added a number of senior managers to its roster in recent days, said it has recruited John Edrington and Charles Davis who will each join as directors and ultra high net worth private bankers. Both men join from Deutsche Bank and will be based in Dallas.
In their new roles they will report to Mark Connally, southwest regional executive for Citi Private Bank.
Davis was a director and client advisor at Deutsche. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2008, he spent nearly 20 years with Merrill Lynch Global Markets and Investment Banking.
Edrington was also a director and client advisor at Deutsche, working at the German bank since 2004.
Earlier this month, Citi Private Bank appointed former Wells Fargo private banker Katherine Stith to its Washington, DC office as director and law firm group private banker. She will report to Tom Troxell, head of the southeast region for Citi Private Bank law firm group.
The bank has told this publication recently that it intends to hire around 100 private bankers over the next few years. This will increase headcount at the bank's UHNW segment to around 230-250 people, compared with the current figure of around 130.
