Chartis Insurance Appoints Private Client Group Manager

Chartis Insurance UK has appointed Guy Huntley as manager of its private client group, the firm's business line for high net worth individuals.

Huntley was latterly underwriting centre manager for Chartis’s private client group in California. The company believes Huntley’s prior experience will make him invaluable in the development of its private client offering in Europe as the US – and California in particular – is seen to be at the forefront of product development and service delivery.

“His [Huntley’s] appointment is an excellent example of the strength of our international network, and our ability to share resources and best practice across the group,” said Ann Owen, vice president of the private client group who heads up all HNW business outside of the US and Canada.

“In the seven years since we started underwriting HNW business in the UK we have built a strong practice focusing on the top end of the market. Guy’s expertise will help us to take this to the next level.”
