Change At Top Of New Zealand-Based Infrastructure House
The organisation, which oversees a total of $26 billion of assets, concentrates on the infrastructure sector.
Morrison, the New
Zealand-headquartered infrastructure investment firm ($26 billion
AuM) has appointed Steven Fitzgerald, currently global head of
asset management, as lead operating partner.
The firm is planning to expand its roster of lead operating
partners to drive growth, it said in a statement late last
week.
Fitzgerald has been in his existing role for 13 years.
As part of the change, Rachel Drew, who joined the firm 18
years ago, will step into the global head of asset
management job.
“Mr Fitzgerald will focus on expanding Morrison’s reach of sector
and functional expertise globally to support a model that we know
drives value and enables Morrison to be excellent managers of the
assets we invest in on behalf of our clients,” William Smales,
the firm’s chief investment officer, said.
“Our highly experienced and global operating partners are an
integral part of our investment management model. Their diverse
perspectives, extensive leadership experience and deep expertise,
and industry knowledge support our approach to any investment,
further enhancing our asset management capabilities.”
Morrison’s CEO is Paul Newfield; the firm was founded by Lloyd
Morrisonin 1988. Besides New Zealand, the business has offices in
Australia, Singapore, the UK and the US.
