GMP Private Client, a unit of GMP Capital, a Canadian investment banking firm, has formed a strategic alliance with Russell Investment Group to give GMP's investment advisers access to Russell's multi-manager, managed account programs, the Sovereign Investment Program and the LifePoints Portfolios. In a news release, GMP said Russell Investment Group is “a world leader in money manager research” that offers investors an objective research process dedicated to finding the best money manager for each mandate.
