Canadian Investment Firm Ramps Up Risk Management With Double Appointment

Gluskin Sheff, the Toronto-headquartered investment manager, has appointed Patrick Keeley and David Vankka as vice presidents, risk management.

Mr Keeley, who will be based in Toronto, was most recently co-president of RBC Phillips Hager & North Investment Counsel, having previously held senior positions with Bank of Montreal and Charles Schwab Canada.

Mr Vankka joins the firm from Tristone Capital, where he was managing director, institutional sales and trading. In his new role he will be based in Calgary.

Founded in 1984, Gluskin Sheff manages portfolios of $5 million or more for high net worth private clients and institutional investors.
