Canaccord Wealth Management has partnered with fi360 Canada, the fiduciary analytics provider, to give its investment advisors the opportunity to obtain the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Professional designation. 

Fi360 offers training and education, as well as the resources necessary for fiduciaries and those who provide services to fiduciaries to manage their activities. An AIFP designation bolsters the value of an advisor's services, especially with the fiduciary standard increasingly becoming a core component of best practices in the investment industry both in the US and in Australasia.

The first training program took place in July 2011, with further training sessions and exams to be undertaken throughout the year.
