Canaccord Announces New Divisional Leadership
UK-based Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management UK and Crown Dependencies (CGWM) makes senior promotions.
Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management UK and Crown Dependencies has made Adam Ross and Rupert Stone divisional directors, as the firm continues to expand.
Ross, who has been with Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management since 2014, will oversee the firm’s operations in Norwich, Newcastle and York, the firm said in a statement. He specialises in working with private clients, charities and family offices, with particular expertise in alternative asset classes.
Stone, who joined Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management at the time of the acquisition of Punter Southall Wealth in May 2022, will be responsible for Blackpool, Lancaster and Llandudno in his new role. Stone manages a range of private clients, trust, pension and charity portfolios, the firm continued.
“Our business has expanded rapidly in the last few years. The development of our regional leadership is a natural progression now that we are a larger organisation – and both Adam and Rupert are ideal candidates to manage and provide direction to colleagues in their respective regions as we continue to provide best in class wealth management for all of our clients,” Duncan Stratford, managing director of Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management UK, said.
Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management UK has assets under management of £32.5 billion ($40 billion) in the UK and Crown Dependencies, offering private clients, professionals and charities a range of wealth management services, from discretionary investment management to expert financial planning advice.
