Californian Firm Partners With Raymond James

The firm will now be part of the Raymond James financial institutions division.
US financial services firm Raymond James has
partnered with California-headquartered Central Valley Investment
Services (CVIS), a division of Central Valley Community Bank,
which will be part of the Raymond James financial institutions
division (FID).
CVIS will now offer investment and wealth management services to
its clients through RJFS, the firms said in a statement.
The team is led by program manager Rod Geist and includes support
specialist Anabel Rodriguez.
The California-based firm includes four financial advisors: Jerry
Lawless, who serves Fresno County; Tim Welch, who serves Fresno
and Madera counties; Arthur Velasco, who serves Tulare County;
and Robert Faust, who serves Merced, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and
Sacramento counties. Collectively, the advisors manage
approximately $125 million in client assets.
CVIS previously partnered with Investment Centers of America,
before partnering with Raymond James.
“With sophisticated capabilities, marketing and technology
support, and a longstanding client-first approach, we believe our
financial institutions division offers unique benefits to our
bank partners,” said Tim Killgoar, senior vice president and head
of FID. “We’re proud that Central Valley Community Bank and their
CVIS advisors chose Raymond James as their partner, and we look
forward to supporting them as they expand their offerings to
clients in this important region.”
Raymond James Financial Services is a financial services firm
supporting more than 4,300 independent financial advisors
nationwide. The financial institutions division was established
by Raymond James in 1987 to provide banks and credit unions with
an alternative to traditional third-party investment providers.
