Cabot Lodge Appoints Florida President

Cabot Lodge Securities has opened an office in Tampa, FL, naming Paul Richardson as regional president.

Earlier in his career, Richardson co-founded and served as the CEO for Pointe Capital (now JHS Capital Advisors) in Boca Raton, FL. He sold his stake in 2009. He also founded Richardson Recruiting Services.

He is charged with growing Cabot Lodge in Florida, recruiting for the firm there, and supervising its financial advisors in the state as its municipal securities principal. He reports to chief executive Craig Gould, who is based in the New York City office.

Gould said the firm had “long viewed” having a Florida presence as essential for growth.

Cabot Lodge offers traditional investment products as well as alternatives such as real estate investment trusts, hedge funds, private equity, green technology, oil and gas programs, equipment leasing programs, and private placement offerings for accredited investors.
