CMS Trust CEO Departs, Deputy Named

CMS Trust Management, the Malaysian asset management firm, has elevated Philip Tan to deputy chief executive officer, replacing Ian Tham Khean Hin.

Mr Tan will retain his present role as chief investment officer and will stay on as deputy CEO until a suitable candidate is found, the company said in a statement. Mr Tham resigned in 1 February to become CEO and executive director of KFH Asset Management in Kuala Lumpur.

CMS Trust has $480 million in assets under management and manages 9 unit trust funds, including 8 local funds and 1 Asia Pacific fund.

KFH confirmed Mr Tham's appointment in a statement released 1 March.
