Omaha, NE-based CLS Investments has chosen Charles River Development's investment management solution for equity and fixed income portfolio management, compliance and trading order management.

The service is managed by Charles River application specialists, hosted at one of its tier one hosting facilities. Integrated electronic trading via Financial Information eXchange is provided via the Charles River network, the firm said. 

“Charles River IMS provides the automation and complete audit trail we need to handle increasing numbers of portfolios, higher trade volumes and greater regulatory scrutiny,” said CLS chief operating officer Jim Anderson. CLS only pays for the resources it needs and can thus increase capacity as the firm grows, he added.
