Butterfield Private Bank, part of the Bermuda-headquartered Butterfield Group, has appointed James Mcneill and Nicholas Rilley to the newly-created role of investment managers, in its London-based asset management team.
McNeill joins Butterfield from Vintage Asset Management and Rilley from Prospect Wealth Management. Both are CFA level two qualified with experience in investment analysis and portfolio management.
In their new roles McNeill and Rilley will be responsible for providing fund analysis to the wider Butterfield group, while working with clients to review and monitor their portfolios.
In other recent hires at the firm, last month Butterfield appointed Jo Hill to the newly-created role of head of marketing.
Total assets for the group were $8.9 billion, as at April 2013.
