Brooks Macdonald Hires From Investec W&I

The UK-based asset manager has created a new senior investment role within its York team.

Brooks Macdonald Asset Management, part of the London-headquartered Brooks Macdonald group, has appointed Investec's Adam Baillie as investment management director.

Baillie, who served as investment director at Investec Wealth & Investment, will take on the newly-created role in York.

He will report to the firm's investment team director, Andrew Wilson, who moved over from BMAM's Manchester office at the time of the firm's York office launch back in 2012.

The new addition follows last month's hire of Ghislaine Perry from rival Brewin Dolphin as head of marketing.
