Broker-Dealer Firstrade Folds Its Website Into Investment Community

Broadbridge, the US firm that supplies technology-based outsourcing packages to the financial services industry, has announced that the US broker-dealer, Firstrade has integrated its brokerage website with Broadbridge’s online investment community.

Under the deal, Firstrade will give its customers direct access to the site while managing their Firstrade account.

The Investor Network is a social networking site where investors can discuss topics, share ideas and gain real-time insight. For example, brokerage firms that integrate with The Investor Network enable their customers to have single sign-on capability directly through their brokerage firm website, thereby avoiding the need to divulge private information, a common requirement found in other social communities for investors.
