Boston Private Bank & Trust has named Boston resident Kelly McKernan as a vice president and portfolio manager in its investment management and trust group. In this role, she will manage investment portfolios of the bank’s individual and institutional clients, working with the bank’s other investment professionals and wealth planning specialists.

McKernan was most recently a financial advisor for the private client group of Bernstein Global Wealth Management, working with high net worth individuals, families, foundations and endowments. Before that, she spent ten years at Deutsche Bank (formerly Scudder, Stevens and Clark) in a variety of senior-level client service and marketing positions within their retirement services division.
