Boston Family Office Hires Private Client Counsel

Boston’s Hemenway & Barnes, the fiduciary family office law firm, has hired Raymond Young as Of Counsel at its private client practice.

In the role, Young will be working with high net worth families and individuals, as well as businesses and non-profit organizations, involved in trust and estate administration or in disputes over wills and trusts.

Young brings expertise in estate and trust administration, tax planning, fiduciary litigation, and expert witness matters, having played an active role in probate and trust reform. He was previously named lawyer of the year by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and estate planner of the year by the Boston Estate Planning Council. He was also president of the Boston Bar earlier in his career.

Based in Boston, MA, Hemenway & Barnes provides legal and financial counsel to HNW families, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Similarly, its affiliate, the private Hemenway Trust Company, offers wealth advisory and management services to local HNW individuals.
