BoS Hires Credit Suisse Duo For South East Asia Team

Bank of Singapore has hired two private bankers from Switzerland’s Credit Suisse, to bolster its Indonesia team.
Bank of Singapore has hired two private bankers from Switzerland’s Credit Suisse to bolster its Indonesia team.
Heng Yeow Kwang joined last month as deputy market head of the Indonesia team with 22 years of experience in Asia. He reports to Robin Heng, head of the Indonesian market in the South East Asia team.
Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, Yeow Kwang was a team leader with Credit Suisse (Singapore), where he spent 11 years building and managing a team of 13 bankers looking after the Indonesian market.
Before Credit Suisse, Yeow Kwang was a senior relationship manager at Deutsche Bank covering the Indonesian market.
Eddie Yee has been appointed as relationship manager, and also joins from Credit Suisse (Singapore), where he worked since 2006. Before Credit Suisse Eddie was an executive manager with Westpac Banking Corporation (Private Bank Singapore) covering the Indonesian and Malaysian markets. He has seven years of experience in wealth management.
It is not yet clear whether Credit Suisse has or will find replacements.
Bank of Singapore, formerly ING Asia Private Bank, is a subsidiary of Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation, the second largest institution by assets in Southeast Asia.
